This file is in BinHex format, so you'll need StuffIt, Compact Pro, or a similar utility to convert it back into a self-extracting archive.

 NOTE: The utilities listed below are beta release software, and may contain bugs. Please follow the normal precautions when testing beta software. Also, this software is not to be distributed.

Features:

Noticed that your Macintosh's clock tends to drift over time? NetChronometer can take care of it!

NetChronometer will synchronize the date and time of your Macintosh with a highly accurate network time server over the internet. You can even set up NetChronometer to synchronize with the time server periodically, for unattended operation.

A comprehensive list of network time servers can be found on the Public NTP Time Servers web page. Whenever possible, please try to use stratum 2 servers.

 

Requirements:

NetChronometer requires System 7 or later, and a 68020-based Macintosh or better. NetChronometer comes in both 68K and PowerPC versions. NetChronometer requires a direct or dial-in internet connection. It supports Open Transport or "classic" Macintosh TCP/IP.

NetChronometer is Appearance Manager-savvy.

NOTE: NetChronometer cannot access the internet through a proxy server or similar internet firewall.
